Below is the list of allowed items in your baggage.
HAND LUGGAGE, PROHIBITED ITEMS:
The European Union has adopted new security measures that expand the amount of liquids, gels, creams, or substances of similar consistency that passengers can carry in their hand luggage when passing security checks at EU airports.
These measures apply to all passengers departing from airports in the European Union, Norway, Iceland, and Switzerland, regardless of their destination.

Passengers may carry in hand luggage:
Liquids in containers of 100 ml or less. (In a transparent plastic bag with a maximum capacity of one liter and a secure, self-sealing closure).
- Liquid products purchased in airport stores or on planes.
- Medicines, baby food, and special dietary products exceeding 100 ml.
How to carry liquids in hand luggage:
Liquids must be presented separately from the rest of the hand luggage at security checks, as security staff may require them to be opened for inspection. In exceptional cases, they may be rejected solely for safety reasons.
Liquids carried in hand luggage must be presented at security checks as follows:
- Containers under 100 ml: To be carried in a transparent plastic bag with a maximum capacity of one liter and a secure closure.
- Liquids purchased in airport shops or on airplanes: These will be sealed at purchase in a security bag with the receipt inside. Passengers must not open it until reaching their final destination. For connecting flights, security staff may need to open this bag to inspect liquids. Please inform them of connecting flights so they can reseal the liquids if necessary.
- Medications, baby food, or dietary products: To be carried outside the baggage and pass through the liquids check.
Liquids are considered:
- Water and other drinks, soups, syrup.
- Creams, lotions, and oils, including toothpaste.
- Perfumes.
- Gel, such as shower gel or shampoo.
- Contents of pressurized containers, including shaving foam, other foams, and deodorants. Aerosols.
- Any other substance of similar consistency.
CHECKED LUGGAGE, PROHIBITED ITEMS

Be cautious with the items you place in your luggage or hand luggage, as carrying objects like scissors, knives, and all sharp items is prohibited for safety reasons. These items must be checked in luggage and never carried in hand luggage. Additionally, passengers may not carry certain items considered dangerous goods by international regulations, including:
- Explosives, ammunition, fireworks, flares, expedition materials, security cases with pyrotechnic items, and pyrotechnic materials in general.
- Compressed, liquefied, refrigerated, or dissolved gases, whether flammable, toxic, or non-flammable and non-toxic, such as aerosols, fire extinguishers, breathing equipment, oxygen bottles for diving, cryogenic liquids, gas cylinders, and cylinders in general.
- Flammable liquids and solids, such as fuel or fuel equipment (camping, filming, etc.), adhesives, solvents, paints, varnishes, torches, matches, lighters, and generally flammable substances that are self-reactive or combustible.
- Oxidizing materials and organic peroxides, such as oxygen generators.
- Toxic or infectious substances, such as disabling devices, diagnostic samples, vaccines, insecticides, and herbicides.
- Radioactive materials, such as pharmaceuticals with radioactive isotopes. Corrosives, such as acids, alkalis, devices containing mercury, and electric storage batteries.
- Other dangerous items, such as first aid kits, magnetic material, dry ice, and car batteries.
- If carrying lithium batteries or power banks (installed in the device or as spares), inform check-in staff of their nature and specifications.
- If hand luggage is removed at the boarding gate due to weight or volume, notify boarding staff of any lithium batteries or other dangerous goods that may be in the bag.
Security Precautions on Transporting Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs)
Large devices (e.g., laptops, tablets, etc.) must be carried in the passenger cabin whenever possible (see hand luggage weight and size restrictions).
Ensure that any device not carried in the cabin (e.g., due to its size) and consequently transported in the hold is:
- Completely turned off and protected from accidental activation. To ensure that the device is never activated during transport, any applications, alarms, or settings that could turn on must be disabled or disconnected.
- Protected from accidental damage by using appropriate packaging or placed in a rigid suitcase with shock-absorbing material (e.g., clothing).
- Not transported alongside flammable materials in the same suitcase (e.g., perfumes, aerosols, etc.).
When hand luggage must be transported in the aircraft hold (due to lack of space), passengers should remove any spare batteries (containing lithium) or electronic cigarettes.
Smart Luggage
The policy for transporting "smart luggage" or "Smart Baggage" as checked baggage is as follows:
This type of baggage can only be transported if the lithium-ion batteries contained within it can be removed. Otherwise, they will not be accepted as checked baggage and must be carried as cabin baggage (subject to established restrictions).
Examples of "smart luggage" include:
- Devices that can charge other devices, such as phones, tablets, and personal computers.
- GPS tracking devices with or without GSM capability.
- Bluetooth, RFID, and Wi-Fi capability.
- Electronic luggage tags.
- Electronic locks.
ITEMS THAT SHOULD NOT BE TRANSPORTED IN LUGGAGE
According to the General Transport Conditions agreed upon between both parties, passengers should not include in checked baggage any items considered dangerous, fragile, perishable, or valuable (money, jewelry, precious metals, computers, personal electronic devices, negotiable documents, securities, or other valuables, business documents, passports, and other identification documents or samples).
Such items will not be reimbursed in case of loss or deterioration unless special baggage value declaration applies.
Please inquire about this option when checking in your baggage.
