Baggage Irregularities
If any damage occurs or your baggage is not found on the baggage claim belt, please proceed to the lost & found/baggage counter in the airport arrivals hall.
There you will need to fill out an incident report (PIR = Property Irregularity Report).
The PIR is a fundamental requirement for processing baggage-related claims. Especially in cases of damage, failure to present the PIR implies that the damage did not occur during the flight.
At Iberojet, we will do everything possible to locate the missing baggage as quickly as possible and return it to you.
During the first 5 days, you should contact the Lost Baggage office at the airport where you filed the baggage irregularity claim (PIR).
After this period, you should contact our central baggage office:

According to Iberojet's General Transport Conditions, passengers should not include in checked baggage any items considered dangerous, fragile, perishable, or valuable (money, jewelry, precious metals, computers, personal electronic devices, negotiable documents, securities, other valuables, business documents, passports, and other identification documents or samples).
Please note that Iberojet does not offer compensation for scratches, stains, dents, or broken handles or wheels on your baggage, nor for damages resulting from the fragility of the checked items or inadequate packaging. These imperfections are considered part of normal baggage wear and tear and are therefore not the airline's responsibility.
You must report the incident before leaving the airport and confirm any further damage to your baggage with the airline staff, as once you leave the arrivals area, a damage report cannot be filed, and the airline will be exempt from liability.
In the event of Damage to Checked Baggage, you must submit a written claim within seven (7) days, and in case of delay, within twenty-one (21) days; in both cases, the period begins from the date the baggage was made available to you.
