Carry-on Baggage
The carry-on baggage allowed on Iberojet flights must strictly meet the following requirements:
Carry-on bag
- Maximum weight: 10 kg.
- Dimensions: 56x45x25 cm (including handles, pockets, and wheels).
- Infants are entitled to the same allowance.
Personal item
In addition, one personal item is allowed (briefcase, purse/handbag, wallet, or laptop):
- Dimensions: 20x35x30 cm.
- It must always be placed under the seat in front of you.
Important: The total combined weight (Carry-on bag + Personal item) may not exceed 10 kg.
• Carry-on baggage that exceeds the limits will not be accepted for boarding or will be charged as an extra bag according to checked-baggage fees (subject to aircraft capacity).
• If there is not enough space in the cabin, carry-on baggage may be placed in the hold at no extra cost, as long as it meets the size limits.
• Passengers carrying power banks may not recharge them onboard for safety reasons.

Checked Baggage
Details of the purchased baggage allowance for adults and children (infants ages 0–2 do not have this allowance):
Each suitcase can weigh up to 23 kg. You can increase this up to 32 kg for an additional fee.
Maximum 158 cm (height + width + length). Includes handle, pockets, and wheels.

Dimensions: Do not exceed the maximum permitted dimensions; otherwise, an additional charge will apply according to the Special Baggage fee.
Maximum weight: No single item may exceed 32 kg. Anything above this limit will not be accepted for transport or will be charged as an extra bag, subject to aircraft capacity.
Fares: Airport prices shown are for guidance only; the final amount will be the one indicated at the check-in counter.
Connecting or codeshare flights: Check the baggage allowance and limits of the operating carrier, as they may vary. Depending on interline agreements, baggage may be checked through to the final destination.
Special Baggage
Special baggage is any item that, due to its size or weight, exceeds the standard allowance.
📏 Oversized baggage
Oversized baggage is any item that exceeds 158 cm total (height + width + length).
Restrictions: The general limit is 23 kg (can be increased to 32 kg for an additional fee). Items measuring more than 200 cm on any side are not accepted.
Advance notice: You must notify us in advance via the Iberojet contact form.
Conditions: Acceptance depends on the space and weight available on long-haul flights.
🚴 Sports equipment
Sports equipment is subject to the same conditions as checked baggage, although certain items carry an additional fee.
Restrictions: Items exceeding 200 cm on any side are not accepted, unless specifically assessed by Iberojet staff. If the weight exceeds the permitted limit, the overweight fee must be paid.
Advance notice: You must notify us before your flight via the Iberojet contact form.
Conditions: Transport depends on available space and weight.
Safety: Must comply with dangerous goods regulations, especially for diving gear (air cylinders) or camping equipment.
🎵 Musical instruments
Musical instruments that, due to their dimensions, must be transported in the aircraft hold.
Restrictions and exceptions: If the instrument does not exceed 30 x 120 x 38 cm, it may be carried as carry-on baggage.
If carried as an additional item beyond your carry-on allowance, there is a fee of €30/$40.
If it exceeds 158 cm total dimensions or 23 kg in weight, the oversized baggage fee will apply.

Live animals in cabin and hold (*1): Live animals are not allowed in the cabin on flights to Mauritius (they are allowed on departing flights). Therefore, all live animals must travel in the hold for immigration and veterinary reasons.

Golf set (*4): Golf set: 1 item containing a full set of golf clubs (12) + one pair of golf shoes.
Payment for these special services at airports must be made in cash. Credit card payments are only accepted at Madrid Airport.
